Knot Cup Wire Brushes are manufactured with threaded adapters to mount directly on hand power tools. The cup shape enables the wire brush to be used on the face to clean welds and surfaces. They are excellent for heavy duty use, deburring, stripping and preparing metal surfaces prior to painting. There are two primary materials used in the manufacture of these brushes. Special high tensile strength steel wire is used in standard brushes for general purpose brush application. Stainless steel wire is designated by green plates and cups and resist corrosion and operate cooler in high temperature aplications.
