INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

1. A standard screw gun with a depth sensitive nosepiece should be used to install Teks. For optimal fastener performance, the screw gun should be a minimum of 6 amps and have a RPM range of 0-2500. (Maximum 1800 RPM is recommended for Teks 5 fasteners)
2. Adjust the screw gun nosepiece to properly seat the fastener.
3. New magnetic sockets must be correctly set before use. Remove chip build-up as needed.
4. The fastener is fully seated when the head is flush with the work surface.
5. Overdriving may result in torsional failure of the fastener or strip out of the substrate.
6. The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal structure a minimum of 3 pitches of thread.
