Taper Taps are used for hand tapping in tough materials.They have a 7-10 thread chamfer at the tip which makes starting threads easier than other tap geometries.These Taper Taps are made from Carbon Steel.

*Please note that Carbon Steel Taper Taps are not recommended for machine tapping.
