The Verum No. 101 Bronze Apron Plane is the most compact in the Verum block plane range, designed for delicate trimming and fine adjustments in detailed work. A favourite of pattern and model makers, toy manufacturers, and luthiers, it delivers smooth results with accuracy in the smallest spaces.

Inspired by the Stanley 101 first manufactured in the late 1800s, this modern Verum edition is crafted from cast bronze with a precision-machined 20° bed. The T10 carbon steel blade, ground at 25° and honed to 30°, provides an effective cutting angle of 50° — the renowned York Pitch that reduces tear-out and leaves an exceptional finish on fine timbers.

A simple blade adjustment screw and one-piece bronze cap, designed to fit comfortably in the hand, complete a plane that feels as good as it looks. At just 245g, it’s light, compact, and always to hand — the perfect apron companion for small tasks and delicate joinery.
