The Groz Octagonal Cold Chisels are used for cutting and chipping metals, as well as shaping, facing, and cutting of stonework. For high performance and durability, these chisels are individually forged from high quality steel. The cutting edge precisely ground and induction hardened at 52-58 HRC, which alongside the shank is powder coated.The striking edge has a hardness of under 42 HRC, preventing the head from splintering while being hit repeatedly by a hammer. This chisel has a strong, impact-proof polypropylene hand guard that protects the user’s hands from misplaced hammer blows.

This 10” long cold chisel is available in widths of¾” and 1”.
