The Groz Woodworking Smoothing Plane with Smooth Base remove the fine shavings for a smooth finish of the woodworking project. Featuring a robust grey cast iron base, meticulously machined to high precision with a flatness tolerance of up to 0.003″ (0.075 mm), these planes set the standard for stability and durability. Accurately seated to eliminate blade “chatter”, the spring steel cutter blade is hardened to 55+5 HRC for a sharper blade edge. The fully adjustable frog caters to specific job requirements, complemented by an attractive hardwood handle and knob with brass adjusting nut and screw heads.
